I am a 2.5yr old chihuahua. I am shy at first but I come out of my shell eventually. I love other dogs and puppies and want to meet them all. I love going for walks with my harness on and my foster mom holding the leash. I stay right by your side. Once I get to know you, you will be my favorite person! I don’t have issues with cats, but I do not like children of any age, they terrify me so I would do best in a home with no kids at all. I love my belly rubbed and back scratched. I am crate and house trained and will let you know when I have to go out. Prefer a playmate but would do fine alone. I love to snuggle in bed with you and sleep by your side all night. I require a fluffy soft dog bed or blanket and one human to be my favorite person. I am quiet and not a barker unless I see children or strangers or want you to play with me. I am still cautious and a little jumpy sometimes but everyone is bigger than me so who wouldn’t be? If you’re the right single person or older couple who do not have children or grand children that visit. please apply. I also like peanut butter biscuits and need a small fenced yard if I’m going outside off leash but for the for few months on leash. I will definitely try to get you to catch me to pick me up to go in but you have to get to my level and slowly pet me and then pick me up because I am a nervous chihuahua. You can not approach me with anything in your hand, not a phone or nothing. Took me 6months to become fully comfortable with my foster mom so time is needed. Also does not like men, only women, I think she had a rough life before rescue. Help me find the perfect place to call my own. Crossedpawspetrescue.org
