Sargeant has been neutered and is officially available for adoption! He’s a sweet, playful little guy looking for the right match.
About Sargeant:
Estimated 3yrs old
- About 13–15 lbs
- Loves belly rubs and playtime
- Enjoys entertaining himself with toys (especially stuffies!)
- Walks well on a leash and harness
- Would love regular walks and outdoor time
Personality & Needs:
Sargeant will thrive with a patient, understanding adopter, preferably a woman. He is fearful of men and is very scared of children, so an adult-only home is a must.
He will need at least 3 days (or more) to decompress and bond in a new home—but once he does, he becomes a wonderful, affectionate companion.
Other Animals:
- Good with dogs (big and small), except he does not get along with a Norfolk Terrier
- Has been around cats in a controlled setting and shows curiosity/play interest, but no aggression
- No small wildlife (squirrels, birds) — he will want to chase
Other Notes:
- Quiet indoors, but will bark outside at strangers, kids, and animals
- Would do best in a calm home with someone willing to give him time to adjust
Sargeant just needs someone patient enough to let him shine—once he does, he’s truly a special companion. 💛
